Grafton Rowing Club Fleet

Looking across the top of the boat storage at Grafton Rowing Club.

The Grafton Rowing Club fleet includes a full variety of boats for all levels of training and competition. Whilst timber oars are still used in a number of training and novice boats, the club also has a variety of William Hay and Croker carbon fibre oars and sculls, in both standard spoons and cleavers. Several ergometers  are also housed in the boatshed.

The shed currently houses boats of various ages, from an original clinker skiff (left) to the latest racing sculls (right).

Boats from various builders including George Towns, Sargent & Burton, KIRS, Turner, Sykes, Ted Hale, W&M, Race 1, Ausrowtec and Euro are housed in the boatshed.

One of our most popular fours is an S&B boat originally used by the Oarsome Foursome (the boys even signed their autographs on the bow deck during a visit to Grafton Rowing Club).
