activities, including:
Tuesday
Afternoon Social Row
|
Grafton Rowing Club's Tuesday afternoon social row is our regular weekly social
get-together. Everyone is welcome to
attend on Tuesday from about 5:00pm for an informal sunset row (usually
about 6km) followed by a barbecue. |

People can row in crews or in sculls
- we row in everything from singles to eights on Tuesday afternoons.
Beginners should preferably make their first contact
at the Sunday morning
Learn to
Row sessions before joining in the Tuesday afternoon row, but
any beginners or people interested in joining the club are more than
welcome to attend on Tuesday and enjoy the barbecue.
You don't have to bring anything - just
yourself and a few dollars for the barbie! |
Friday
Night Raffles
|
Friday night raffles are held at Roches
Family Hotel in Victoria Street (just a short walk from the
boatshed).
The raffles start about 5.30 with some
great prizes and conviviality in a great venue! |

Annual
Marathon Row
|
 |
The annual
Iluka to Grafton Rowathon
is not only a great row, but it is also a fantastic social event
with camaraderie amongst rowers and supporters during the day
followed by a friendly dinner afterwards. |
Annual
Presentation Dinner
|
The annual Presentation Dinner is held
after the end of the rowing season each year (usually in May)
and is a great night with awards for the season's rowing performance
and club participation, as well as numerous humorous awards.
It is always a great night to finish off
the season in a fun, social environment. |
 |
Annual
Christmas Party
|
 |
The club Christmas party is another fun
event on our social calendar. Usually held early in December, the
Christmas party is staged at different venues with different themes
each year.
Even Santa Thommo gets into the spirit!

The club also organises trips from time
such as the popular weekend trips to
